TCAD is a software package for automatic design of :
TCAD was written after 5 years of work as consultant in transformers design.
TCAD is actually the better and ready to use solution for :
The software is friendly and easy to learn: you can insert voltage and power for all windings and TCAD give you all data: core, diameters, turns, weight, size copper and iron losses ..etc .
All parameters are settable as your standard tables. So you can set your current density and your working induction for all cores
TCAD is very useful if your firm is ISO9000 certified; with TCAD you can establish the better way to do a transformer and store theese parameters.
All similar transformers will be designed with the same criteria.
After realized prototype you can test it:
if the real test report differs from analysis calculations it means poor materials or mistakes.
